BUYER BEWARE with used IBC’s. Beauty is often only in the eyes of the seller. But, not with our’s. We only accept the best, used only once, used tanks. Often except for a little glue residue on the I.D. plate, you can’t even tell they are used tanks. Due to the nature of the used IBC business we can’t be sure exactly what we will have in inventory at any given time but, chances are, with a little give and take on both of our parts you will end up with the perfect tank for your application. Most of our used IBC’s are 275 gal. in capacity and they are UN/DOT approved for shipping packing group II and III hazardous liquids. All of them have 6” dia. fill openings with 2” removable bungs in the center and 2” drain valves. The ends of the valves have either 2” MPT threads on them or a 2” male camlock. We would have to know which end you want. All IBC’s leave us with covers, caps, valves and other parts included.
We don’t recommend that you use our washed out tanks for food or pharmaceutical products. They are clean but, not food grade. If you need a food grade tank and, feel that you don’t want to spend the money for a brand new one, move over to the RECON IBC page where you can get a brand new polyethylene tank, manufactured of FDA approved materials inside of a once used cage. Significant savings from new, costs a little more than washed out. NO CHANCE OF CROSS CONTAMINATION.
